What's New for the 2023 Audi Q5?
The compact Q5 crossover has been a top seller in the Audi lineup for many years. This elite model expands its appeal in the 2023 model year by introducing a few meaningful improvements. For the first time, adaptive cruise control is standard for all of the Q5's three trim levels. In addition, the Premium Plus trim for 2023 is also now outfitted with a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
The exterior styling of the 2023 Audi Q5 holds steady and displays confident sophistication from bumper to bumper. This crossover has sweeping, smooth surfaces over its sides and hood, accented with a hint of definition. The front of the Q5 makes a powerful statement with its large, honeycomb grille. This commanding feature covers most of the nose, and its chrome accents carry through to the bumper and around the air intake vents. The headlights have a contemporary look with angled LED accents. Some or all trims have exterior gear like an insulated front windshield, 19-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and others.
The 2023 Audi Q5's performance abilities are identical to the previous model year. While three trims come with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine and a seven-speed auto, dual-clutch transmission, the output differs. The first two trims benefit from 201 horsepower, and the top trim has 261 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid engine offers a 23-mile range of all-electric power and delivers 362 total horsepower.
Other than the updates already mentioned, all other interior and safety features for the Q5 are unchanged. The base trim leaves nothing to be desired with a 10.1-inch touch display screen, a three-zone auto climate control system, connected services, a power liftgate, leather seating, sliding and reclining functions for the second row, heated front seats, wireless smartphone connections, frontal collision mitigation, parking sensors, and others. The more advanced Q5 trims may add traffic jam assist, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, auto parking assistance, traffic sign recognition, heated and cooled cupholders, ambient lighting, and more.
