Performance

You can choose between two engines available across the A4’s three trims. These are a 2.0-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder, 201-horsepower system and a 261-horsepower alternative. Regardless of the A4 trim selected, this Audi comes with all-wheel drive and dual-clutch, seven-speed auto transmission. The Audi A5 Sportback is equipped with the same 201-horsepower engine. All of the A5 Sportback’s trims have all-wheel drive and an automatic seven-speed transmission.

Appearance

Available exclusively as a sedan, the 2023 A4 has expressive yet sophisticated styling with confident definition through the sculpted sides, a gently curved hood, and a clamshell-like roof. Metal-accented air vents, matrix-style LED headlights, and a drop-down grille dress up the A4’s nose. The exterior of the A5 Sportback has a longer, athletic hood and a swooping roof. The side accents are angled boldly for an athletic touch. While the A5 Sportback has the same grille shape and headlights as the A4, these features have a sharper definition on the A5 Sportback.
